At the table, morning and evening

We eat what the garden gives and what the village baker has baked.

A weathered wooden table under a walnut tree, with a linen cloth, a round loaf, a bowl of figs, a ceramic jug, two cups and a bunch of herbs.

Breakfast

It is served in the large room, or in the garden when the weather allows. The fruit and herbs come from the garden; the bread and pastries from the village bakery. There is no buffet: the dishes come to the table, and everyone helps themselves and takes their time.

  • Served outdoors when the weather allows
A long wooden table laid for dinner in a stone room, with a green runner, lit candles, stoneware plates and a loaf of bread.

The shared table

Three evenings a week, Hélène cooks for the guests who have asked for it, around a single table. The menu follows the garden and the season. Reserve in advance, with the room or afterwards.

  • Three evenings a week
  • By reservation only
  • One table for everyone

A week at the farm

What comes round, more or less, every week.

  1. In the morning, breakfast

In the large room or in the garden: bread from the village, fruit and herbs from the garden.
  2. On Saturday, the market

On the square of Saint-Aubin-des-Combes, a ride downhill from the farmhouse.
  3. Three evenings, the shared table

A shared dinner around a single table, by reservation.
  4. At dusk, the ridge

The walk at the end of the day, as the light drops over the valley.
